The White-Robed Army: An Afro-Guyanese Religious Movement
Abstract
La White-Robed Army ou Jordanite Movement est un mouvement religieux afro-guyanais de revitalisation, à la fois syncrétique et très marqué du fondamentalisme protestant. Cet article s'efforcera surtout de montrer comment ce mouvement reflète la société guyanaise dans laquelle il s'est développé et se perpétue.
